Flood inundation has ruined our home
Along with so many other businesses and homes, our head office and community hub in Lismore was inundated by recent flooding.
Damage to our downstairs level was extensive, even though we had a disaster management plan in place and were able to get all our furniture to higher ground the day before the flooding. Our walls, flooring, cupboards and reception areas have all had to be demolished.

As part of our disaster management plan, we had previously acquired a shop front and warehouse at 10 Centenary Drive, Goonellabah, ready to go. This has enabled us to continue delivering our services, which are in greater demand right now more than ever before.
In the last flooding event of 2017, we were insured against flood which allowed us to rebuild. But we have been unable to reacquire any insurance since.

Many other people in the Lismore community, including some of our own staff, have lost their homes and businesses. It is a daunting task for us all to rebuild. We stand with our local communities in working together to meet this challenge.
