We are standing up for children’s rights and safety.
National Child Protection Week is running this year from 3-9 September. It is organised by the National Association for Prevention of Child abuse and Neglect (NAPCAN) and aims to promote a safe and supported life for every child, now and into the future.
We are committed to the support and protection of children’s rights in our communities, through our values, vision, philosophies and services. Our Connecting Families service supports children by helping families to grow strong, healthy connections.
To stand up and promote children’s rights during National Child Protection Week 2023, we are participating in the Clarence Valley Child and Family Network Spring Carnival. Friday 1 September from 2-6pm at Clarence River Jockey Club. There will be plentiful entertainment, hot food, sweet treats, carnival rides and a big bouncy castle. And of course – us! Entry is completely free.
Come and say hi – you won’t miss our stall, shared with Momentum Collective. We will have some super fun kids’ activities, colouring in games and loads of information about our support services.
We are looking forward to seeing you there, and wishing all children everywhere a safe and happy National Child Protection Week.
