Our open day was a hit with locals

18 May, 2023

Lismore Community Hub is back better than ever.

After the formal reopening ceremony of our community hub the previous week, we recently opened the doors of our neighbourhood centre once again to the public for an open day, to celebrate national Neighbourhood Centre Week and the return to our old home at 76 Carrington Street.

The rainy weather didn’t deter community members and local service providers from joining us to connect, share stories, inspect our renovated community hub, engage in a range of fun activities, win some prizes and learn about how we support our local people and communities.

We drew several raffles, with prizes generously donated by The Smashed Avo, Fundies, Bunnings Lismore, Brad’s Butchery and Benchtop Cafe.

Our heartfelt thanks go to:

  • Coles Goonellabah
  • Lismore Lion’s Club
  • Anna’s Greek Kitchen
  • The free hot mini doughnuts team
  • Nancy from Workforce Skills and Training

We couldn’t have done it without you! Here are some photos from the day.
