Rainbow Region Kids
Affordable, quality, outside school hours childcare for the Northern Rivers region.
Rainbow Region Kids is a flexible, accessible, outside school hours childcare service for school-aged children throughout the Northern Rivers region. It includes Before School Care, After School Care and Vacation Club during school holidays.
Rainbow Region Kids is an externally accredited, approved childcare service. Our services are child care subsidy approved. Parents with an active child care subsidy could be eligible for a reduced fee and out-of-pocket expenses (contact Centrelink for more information).
The service provides exciting, educational activities to support children’s physical, emotional, intellectual and social growth. We employ trained teachers and educators to plan and implement activities in consultation with children.
Rainbow Region Kids operates across 5 Local Government Areas, providing services to communities from Casino to Ocean shores.

Rainbow Region Kids services are based on the My Time Our Place framework for school-aged children which focuses on play and leisure to encourage learning.
Our services operate in six different locations, tailored to the interests and needs of the children that attend, their families and communities.
We value support and input from parents and carers. We seek their feedback about our staff, services and policies, and encourage conversations about their family’s culture, interests and their children’s needs.

There is an annual fee of $45 per family to access any of our Rainbow Region Kids services.
