A big festive thank you to all our volunteers for their ongoing support over the last year. We think you are all awesome!
Northern Rivers Community Gateway recently organised a special festive lunch at Lismore Workers Club, to celebrate the ongoing and tireless work our volunteers do throughout the year to support the most vulnerable people in our communities.
We are fortunate to have some amazing humans regularly volunteering in several of our services, such as
- Community Visitor’s Scheme, which matches volunteers to residents of aged care facilities to provide companionship and social connection.
- Northern Rivers No Interest Loans Scheme, which provides interest and fee free loans to people on a low income.
- Community Hub, offering various crisis relief and community capacity building services
- Senior’s Hub, providing IT and computer training to senior citizens who experience barriers to using modern technology.
