Many essentials to managing everyday life have rapidly shifted online, frequently isolating individuals who lack technology skills or digital confidence.

To close this gap, we host free, practical ‘Digital Skills for Everyday Life’ workshops across the region.

The Challenge

An increasing need for digital skills to manage the basics of life.

Digital literacy is now crucial for navigating essential everyday systems, like booking doctors appointments, managing utilities and doing basic banking.

For many people within our region, this shift has created an immediate barrier to personal autonomy, creating exclusion and leaving them highly exposed to online scams.

We recognise that true digital equity cannot be achieved just by broad access to devices. It requires customised, patient, and localised face-to-face training, designed to meet people exactly where they are.

community workshops

Flexible, responsive digital life skills training.

Our friendly two-hour learning workshops are offered in small group, and are highly interactive. We customise each session to the needs of those in attendance, with a focus on practical, real-world navigation of the smartphones, tablets, and secure platforms our participants rely on for their daily lives.

core capabilities

Delivering essential digital tools for everyday independence.

  • Telehealth & Health Records: Empowering participants to safely manage their book appointments, navigate electronic medical records, and confidently consult with healthcare professionals online.

  • Online Job Seeking: Demystifying modern online recruitment platforms, teaching participants how to effectively search for local roles, and successfully submit digital employment applications.

  • Secure Banking & Government Services: Building confidence to conduct everyday banking, navigate mobile banking apps safely, and utilise secure government digital platforms like MyGov and Service NSW.

  • Scam Awareness & Safety: Training to spot modern phishing schemes, recognise digital fraud tactics, and confidently protect personal identity and privacy online.
