This week is National Child Protection Week, running from 3-9 September. To mark the occasion, we participated in the Clarence Valley Child and Family Network Spring Carnival last Friday. There was a great turnout out with over 600 visitors, the space bustling all day with children, families and service providers connecting, having fun and celebrating children's rights. We shared a stall with Clear Minds of @Momentum Collective, where we offered exciting games, colouring-in and other creative activities to children. We were so carried away with our activities that we forgot to take any photos, so here's one of us setting up in the morning. The giant Scrabble was a hit! We are already planning activities for next year’s event. #napcan #childprotectionweek2023 #ChildProtectionWeek #nrcg #graftonnsw #kidsmatter #nswchildren #northernnsw Clarence Valley Council ... We have advocated for the empowerment of Australia's first nations peoples for many decades. We support an indigenous voice to parliament and in voting yes at the upcoming referendum on 14 October. This referendum is the direct result of prolonged campaigning and advocacy for First Nations Australians' rights, over many decades. Voting yes means that Australia's first nations peoples will always be more visible to our national politicians, and will build a more inclusive and respectful future for all Australians. youtu.be/br8dB_0z3Fk?feature=sharedTo learn more about why voting yes is so important, visit yes23.com.au.#nrcg #northernnsw #Yes23 #VoteYes #voicetoparlaiment ...
