This week is Refugee Week, running from 19-25 June and is coordinated by the Refugee Council of Australia. The theme is "healing". It is an opportunity to reflect on the importance of human connection and community, in learning from each other and building stronger communities through healing. We are proud to have been supporting vulnerable people from all walks of life for nearly 50 years. Our social inclusion services, such as volunteering programs and community hubs, support many whose culture or language is not commonplace, building connections, confidence and skills. So this week we'd like to celebrate the diversity of culture and language in our communities, and acknowledge those amongst us who are disadvantaged because of them. We’re happy you’re here. refugeeweek.org.auRefugee Council of Australia (RCOA) #refugeeweekau #refugeeweek #RefugeeWeek #northernnsw ... See MoreSee Less
