Community Gateway is an externally accredited, registered charity formed in 1976.

For 50 years, we have operated as Lismore’s neighbourhood centre, providing grass-roots welfare support and capacity building services for disadvantaged people and communities.

Our services now extend from Lismore to Northern New South Wales, and more broadly across the state.

First Step emergency relief

A broad range of services and supports to help people get through periods of financial crisis.

No Interest Loans (NILs)

No interest loans up to $2000 with no fees for people on a low income.

Rainbow Region Kids

Affordable, high quality before school care, after school care and vacation care for school-aged children throughout the Northern Rivers region.

Financial counselling

Take control of your finances with confidential, one-on-one guidance and support from our qualified, specialist financial counsellors.

As the second anniversary of the 2022 floods nears, today we're thinking about all the emergency relief outreach we provided to communities across Northern NSW.
