What you need to know.

Am I eligible for free financial counselling?

Our financial counselling specialists are available for appointments with individuals, families or small businesses to help them better manage their finances more effectively.

To be eligible for free financial counselling you must be a resident of Northern NSW, living anywhere from Grafton to Tweed.

What can financial counselling help with?

We can help with:

General money management
Budgeting
Debt management
Gambling counselling
Bankruptcy support
Financial literacy and education
Crisis or natural disaster financial counselling
Small business financial counselling

Is the service free?

If you meet the eligibility requirements, financial counseling is free. The service is funded by NSW Fair Trading across Northern NSW, from Grafton to Tweed.

How do I access financial counselling?

Appointments are essential. Get in touch by calling 02 6621 7397 or emailing fc@nrcg.org.au to make an appointment. You can also drop in to our Lismore Community Hub to find out more at 76 Carrington Street, Lismore, NSW 2480. We’re open 9am – 4pm daily.
