Connecting Families

Connecting Families works with vulnerable families to support and develop skills regarding parenting, attachment, and emotional or behaviour management.

This free service supports parents and carers of children up to 15 years old who live in the the Clarence Valley, and who find the pressure of parenting and everyday life difficult or overwhelming at times.

Connecting Families supports parents and children to feel more connected and confident in parental and caring roles. It works with families who want to create change to support life skills, attachment and behavioural growth.

We aim to establish a stable platform from which families can develop healthy, nourishing connections.

Our service is tailored to suit the individual needs of each family. Our flexible supports and resources are delivered from our custom-designed facilities, session rooms and in families’ own homes. Using low impact assessment tools, we measure families’ progress and the positive impact of the service.
