We provide free counselling, casework and advocacy support for people in financial difficulty to address their financial problems, manage debt and make informed choices about their money in the future.

Our specialist financial counsellors work with individuals, families and small businesses to review their financial situation, get their finances under control and make plans for long term financial security. Our financial counsellors can help with:

  • Gambling counselling
  • Bankruptcy support
  • Financial literacy and workshops
  • Flood recovery financial counselling

We can meet you for face to face counselling in:

  • Ballina
  • Grafton
  • Lismore
  • Maclean

Appointments are essential.


To be eligible to receive these services, you must be:

  • Resident in Northern NSW.
  • Able to attend appointments in Lismore, Grafton, Ballina or Murwillumbah.
