Free, accredited Mental Health First Aid® training for NSW volunteers 31 October + 10 November 2025

Mental Health First Aid® training enables you to become an accredited Mental Health First Aider™.

Training details

Facilitator: Sharmaine Keogh, specialist trauma counsellor and accredited Mental Health First Aid® trainer.

Dates and times: 31 October + 10 November 2025, 9:30am-12:30pm.

Registrations close: 23 October 2025.

Location: Delivered online via Zoom. Session links will be provided after registration.

Cost: Free (valued at over $285).

Eligibility: This training is open to anyone currently registered as a volunteer in NSW.

Preparation: Participants must receive their eLearning access and Mental Health First Aid® manual before training starts. Access will the provided after registration. The eLearning component is self-paced and must be completed ahead of the live online sessions.

Conditions: Attendance at both sessions is required to receive MHFA accreditation. On successful completion of both sessions, participants will be certified as Mental Health First Aiders™.
